The Show Must Go On

I feel a cold coming on. Last week I had all these great ideas for blog posts, and today I can't remember anything. My head is achy and my sinuses feel weird.....plus I am more tired than I usually am. Doesn't matter though, sick or not sick, the show must go on. And the orders must go out.

That's one of the downfalls of having your own business.....you can't call in sick. Sure, you can take a day off, but there is no one who is going to do the work for you. It will be there waiting when you get back to work. So, is it better to take off and rest up, and fall behind on work? Or push through, no matter how sick you get, and stay caught up?

Me, I usually choose the latter. As long as I can still hold a paint brush, I will work for a few hours here and there. I hate to fall behind, and then it is really difficult to get caught up again. It just isn't worth the rest.

Funny, how when kids or hubby are sick, the whole world comes to a stop. When mom is sick, life just continues on....hopefully a decongestant and some ibuprofen will take care of this and things will be back to normal tomorrow. Whatever normal is.....
